Get your club going.

    Download and install LOKL

    Get the app on the App Store or Google Play and create your account.

  2. 2

    Create a page for your club

    Set up a LOKL page for your club. This is where your fixtures, results and news will live.

  3. 3

    Start posting fixtures, results and news

    Add a match, put in results after the game, and share club news. It works for any club or sport from the off.

GAA clubs: connect Foireann

  1. 1

    Request your Foireann API key

    Foireann issues an API key on request. It must be made by a club administrator who is also on the club's executive committee. In Foireann:

    1. Log in to foireann.ie/help.
    2. Select Help Portal, then Ways to get in Touch, then Write to us.
    3. Confirm your Email, Club and Person.
    4. Select "I need Foireann Support to do something for me", then Other.
    5. Issue Description: "Foireann Fixtures and Results API access".
    6. Select "None of these articles match my query".

    In Your Message, include these details:

    • Name of Website Developer: LOKL Technologies Limited
    • Email of Website Developer: hello@lokl.co
    • Club permission to access their API: the club gives permission for LOKL to access their API.
    • Any amalgamations the club is part of: none, or the other club name if it applies.
    • The Website URL: https://www.lokl.co

    Full details are in Foireann's official guide: Foireann Open Data API, Getting Started. Foireann will email your API key once it's approved, which can take a few days.

    Open Foireann Fixtures & Results in the app

    Once you have your key, go to:

    Account Tab, then My Pages, then your GAA club, then Foireann Fixtures & Results
  3. 3

    Enter your key and tap Validate & Continue

    Paste your API key and tap Validate & Continue. Your fixtures and results then sync from Foireann on their own.
